Sometimes, life will toss some curve balls. I kind of feel like I have had my share of them lately, but fortunately with the love, support and prayers of many friends and collegues I have once again been able to rise above.
My good friend Danielle Keister posted about it all on her blog Gritty VA and the outpouring of support from her organization the Virtual Assistance Chamber of Commerce was incredible.
My husband is a cancer survivor and was re-diagnosed three weeks ago. He underwent surgery this week, and to the doctor's amazement, what they saw in the tests as being extremely bad, turned out to be isolated once they got into surgery. We still have a road to recovery and the possibility of having to undergo some further treatment again, but it is not nearly as invasive and life threatening as they originally thought.
I believe that our "miracles" are due to all of the prayers and positive thoughts that were sent up on our behalf and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Although most of us have never met in real life, you are such special, important people in my life.
